My son loved this desk.

When we received this desk we were absolutely thrilled because it's exactly what my son had wanted. The work surface is generously wide and the side storage options are also great. We loved that it lights up under one of the shelves! It adds such a unique element to his room. The vibes are really great and he has used it to store his record collection along with his turntable and there is still generous space for him to be able to do his work. The desk arrived flat-packed for shipping and it did require an hour or so of assembly. That said, the instructions were quite clear and we only had a couple of minor reassembly moments required. The project was actually kind of fun for my son and I to complete together.

Basic but effective and functional.

This desk will not be for everyone, but it meets our needs well, and is reasonable quality for the price. It is a flat pack, and modern black paint finish can’t hide that the wood/board chosen is fairly thin and generic. Assembly is somewhat time-consuming due to the various elements, but straightforward to follow, and all necessary tools and parts are included in the box. Once constructed, the desk seems to be true to provided measurements, and it functions well as basic computer/homework desk for the teen members of the household. The corner design means it tucks fairly neatly into the space, and depending on your room, you can reverse the layout (instructions for both layouts are included and clearly labelled).
